Nutella Pie Crust Cookies

Late last night, I wanted Nutella, not just on a spoon though, I wanted Nutella cookies. Trouble was the little munchkin was getting ready for bed and I was exhausted, so I needed something quick and effortless. While staring into my pantry and refrigerator, praying for inspiration, I noticed the pie crust... and these cookies were conceived! They were so easy to make it's not really fair to call this a recipe, but they were too good to not share on my blog with the world, so... here it is!

Nutella Pie Crust Cookies
Makes 16
1 pre-made pie crust
1 jar of Nutella
1 tablespoon butter
cinnamon and sugar
1. unroll pre-made pie crust
2. cut into 16 small wedges (like a pizza)
3. spread each wedge of pie crust with a generous amount of Nutella
4. starting at the wide end, roll up the slice (like a crescent roll)
5. melt butter in microwave and brush tops of cookies with it
6. sprinkle the tops with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar
7. bake at 425 degrees for about 8 minutes, or until golden brown
8. eat! they are best while warm! :)

  2. I had bought extra pie crusts because I was going to make chicken pot pie...I knew i would find a good dessert recipe online using pie crusts and Nutella...and i did! Thank you! I made them tonight and they were yummy, i've heard men love the smell of cinnamon...well i had these in the oven and as soon as came home from work his first words were "It smells so good in here..." :)
