Pigs in a Blanket

I can't believe I am writing this post. Is this even really a recipe? I honestly don't know. I do know that these are a guilty pleasure in our home every year around the holidays and in sharing them with some friends recently, found that they had never before been exposed to the wonder of Pigs in a Blanket! (Gasp!!) I know, hard to believe, but true! Anyway, here are the assembly instructions for anyone else in the world, uninitiated in this delectable finger food! :)

Pigs in a Blanket
Makes about 40

2 packages pre-made croissant rolls (or biscuit dough)
1 package of Little Smokies sausage links

1. unroll croissant dough and separate
2. cut each triangle into three pieces
3. wrap each piece of dough around a link
4. bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown
5. dip in mustard, ketchup, BBQ sauce, or eat plain (our favorite!)

  1. Wow...These were the staple for b'fasts with my grandparents every summer. All 14 grandchildren would go and stay with the grandparents for a week and go swimming. Mom Adams (my grandmother) would make a crap load of these every morning and they would be gone before the plate hit the table. Hmmm...thanks for reminding me of the memory...I think I'll make some this weekend. :D
