Super Easy Donuts

Despite still feeling a little queasy, I'm back in the kitchen! To ease myself back in I made these donuts the other day for the first time since college, just for fun. Though probably not good for your cholesterol, they taste so deliciously crispy and sweet that you won't really care. One word of advice... they are only good while warm so eat them right away and share with some friends- don't bother saving any for later! :)

Super Easy Donuts
Makes 8-10

1 package pre-made biscuits (in a can)
sugar or cinnamon and sugar mixture

1. heat a frying pan with about an inch of oil in the bottom over medium heat (until a small piece of bread thrown in bubbles immediately)
2. take a small circle cookie cutter (the lid of a water bottle works too!) and cut a hole out of the center of each biscuit
3. fry a few at a time, turning over when golden brown and crispy
4. when both sides are browned, drain on a plate covered with paper towels and sprinkle with lots of sugar while still hot
5. don't forget to cook the middles for perfect little donut holes! :)
6. eat and enjoy!
