Slow-cooker Pulled Pork Sandwiches


Dear pulled pork, where have you been all my life?!?! Until I made this myself I had no idea how easy and delicious it could be! It literally took seconds to 'make' and is so versatile that I can't wait to try it again with different seasonings! After cooking all day, the meat actually falls off the bone into juicy, tender pieces! I used BBQ sauce since I wanted to put it on sandwich rolls for our Fourth of July celebration and it was YUMMY!

Slow-cooker Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Serves about 10

6 1/2 pound pork shoulder, trimmed of visible fat
3 cups BBQ sauce
sandwich rolls/ hamburger buns

1. trim pork shoulder of visible fat
2. place in crock pot/ slow-cooker and rub all over with the BBQ sauce
3. cook on low for 8-12 hours
4. shred and put on rolls or buns with a little extra BBQ sauce for a tasty sandwich cold or hot! :)
