Tilapia in White Wine, Garlic, and Butter Sauce


This dish takes almost no prep work, cooks in 30 minutes, and tastes delicious! I love serving it over risotto or pasta and spooning all the yummy the sauce over the top! Mmmm!

Tilapia in White Wine, Garlic, Lemon, and Butter Sauce
Serves 4

4 Tilapia fillets
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup white wine
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
cracked black pepper to taste

1. place Tilapia fillets in a greased baking dish
2. spread fillets with minced garlic and sprinkle chunks of butter across the tops
3. pour wine and lemon juice over the top and add cracked black pepper to taste
4. Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes until fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork
5. Serve immediately, spooning extra sauce from the pan over the top of each fish

  1. Recipe sounds great, tilapia is my favorite fish whether cooking myself or eating out, look forward too trying your recipe with the wine, and will maybe have to have some of the wine in a glass to go along with the fish. :)
