Banana-Avocado Smoothie


As Americans, we are used to eating avocados in savory foods like guacamole, burgers, salad, tacos, etc. In Latin cultures though, it is actually served more as a dessert. After seeing several different recipes online for avocado smoothies, I decided to try my own version. It was different, but unexpectedly tasty!

Banana-Avocado Smoothie
Serves 2

1 banana
1 avocado
3/4 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup vanilla soy milk
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 cup ice

1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
2. Serve cold and enjoy!
