4th of July Fruit Kabobs

These fruit kabobs are an easy and fun snack we make every year at our house! Munchkin enjoys helping me cut up the fruit and then stacking them in a pattern on the wooden skewers. Sometimes we eat them for breakfast, dipped in vanilla yogurt. Other times we'll have them for dessert, dipped in melted chocolate, or we'll freeze them to enjoy later as a frozen fruit kabob-sicle! However you enjoy them, they are a healthy and tasty patriotic treat to make together!

4th of July Fruit Kabobs
Makes about 12 kabobs

1 pint of strawberries, washed and cut in half or thirds
1 pint of blueberries, washed
2 bananas, cut into slices

12 wooden skewers

1. wash and cut fruit
2. assemble skewers by placing a half of a strawberry, then a blueberry, a slice of banana, followed by another blueberry and repeating 3 times for each skewer
3. serve and enjoy immediately with yogurt, melted chocolate, or just as is
