Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

One of my absolute favorite things about fall is the seasonal pumpkin smoothie they make every year at Jamba Juice. In fact, it's become a family tradition to take the kids to get one after our trip to the pumpkin patch each year. That might seem strange to some, but after sweating our way through the corn maze and getting a sunburn picking out our pumpkin in 80 degree sunshine... that's how we roll here in California! Here's my healthy, copycat version- cinnamon spiced, creamy, cold pumpkin pie in a glass!

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
Serves 2

1/4 cup honey
2/3 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
1 small banana, sliced and frozen
2 cups pumpkin puree
1 cup milk (regular, almond, or soy)
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup ice cubes

1. In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. Add more milk if needed to reach your desired texture/ thickness.
2. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon and enjoy!
