Peanut Butter Banana Roll Ups
After getting home from preschool a couple weeks ago, my 4 year old declared, "I'm inventing a new recipe for lunch! It will be called Peanut Butter Banana Roll Ups." Slightly shocked, I asked her what she needed to make this new recipe, put the ingredients on the kitchen table for her with a toddler-safe butter knife, and watched in amazement as she created this recipe! She narrated each step for me as she did it and then paused before rolling it up and told me to take a picture for the blog. Not joking! After she finished eating it, she calmly licked the peanut butter from her fingers and stated, "Yep. I knew it. It's a winner!" This child may be a culinary genius. Without further ado, I give you Chloe's first recipe... Peanut Butter Banana Roll Ups! :)
Peanut Butter Banana Roll Ups (By Chloe)
1 large tortilla
1 ripe banana
plenty of creamy peanut butter
1. First spread lots of peanut butter all over the tortilla.
2. Cut thin slices of the banana and put them all over on top of the peanut butter.
3. Starting at one side, roll up the tortilla really tight into a tube shape.
4. Eat it!
