Salmon in White Wine, Garlic, Lemon, and Butter Sauce

Because we love salmon, I decided to take our favorite Tilapia recipe and use it on some salmon filets I had in the freezer. The lemon and garlic combine with the wine and butter to create a delicious sauce that not only seasons the fish, but acts as the perfect topping to rice or potatoes as a side dish!

Salmon in White Wine, Garlic, Lemon, and Butter Sauce
Serves 4

4 salmon fillets
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup white wine
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
cracked black pepper to taste

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and place Tilapia fillets in a greased baking dish.
2. Spread fillets with minced garlic and sprinkle chunks of butter across the tops.
3. Pour wine and lemon juice over the top and add cracked black pepper to taste.
4. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, until fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
5. Serve immediately, spooning extra sauce from the pan over the top of each fish.
